Have you moved into a new home and concerned about your security or if your lock doesn’t function properly, the best option is to get the lock/locks replaced. Door lock replacements needs to be done by a reliable and trusted locksmith to ensure the lock is installed securely and alighned correctly. An ill-fitted lock is an invite to a burgular! especially a euro/oval spec cylinder, these should be flush with your door handle! Why? the more cylinder a burgular can grab hold of the quicker they can burgal your home! The cylinder needs to be flush with your handle plate and ideally be of high seurity with a minimum of anti drill/pick defences, anti snap is another upgrade highly recommended. Replacing a high security lock is cheaper than replacing the valueable contents of your home.
